An Un-Welcomed Guest (Me lol)

Friday night! So I HAD to go out. I called up jenarth and decided to go to his place and make plans from there.

I got there at around 9pm cuz I had to leave after I broke my fast which was at 7:15pm… so I was running late. When I got there, we chilled at his place for a bit… until his sister told us she was going out with her friends for some buuble-tea. We were either gonna go with her OR go to chris’ b-day party at “bruce’s pit” which is like in the middle of a forest.

At 10pm we decided to go to the pit, but by the time we left his house, it was 10:30pm. So we went into jenarth’s garage to get his bikes cuz bruce’s pit wasn’t to far. While in the garage, we found out there was no light at all lol. So I kept taking pictures for us to see for like a millisecond lmao! Here they are :P

Then I just took out my cell phone for jenarth to use my phone as a light :P

That’s when we realized only HIS bike worked… the other bike had a flat tire… so we decided I would double ride him to bruce’s pit… halfway there I got CRAZY tired! So jenarth went infront and tried to double ride me.. but he was to small haha! So I just double rided him all the way… with around 5 min walking periods for me to rest a bit :P

We finally got the the PIT area… but we weren’t exactly sure WHERE the party was… Jenarth said there was a bond fire… so we looked into the forest for some orange light… and in the distance, we saw some! So we walked down this REALLY scary dark path which at the end of it had an orange glow… while we were walking, I had this huge adrenalin rush cuz it was so friggen scary.

Halfway to the orange glow we ran into a fence… so we lifted Jenarth’s bike over the fecne, then we jumped over it.

When we finally get to the orange glow… we found out it was from a really bright street light!!! We were kinda pissed… So we kept on going, since it was a REALLY big forest.

We walked by a really narrow dark walk path that led deeper into the forest… but we decided to pretend we didn’t see it! Haha, to scary :P We kept on going and found a bigger brighter path into the forest. We walked into it… then found it shrinks into an even smaller alley which was PITCh black. That’s when I pretty much gave up… then jenarth, in his last plea of hope, told me to yell out chris’ name. And so I did… “CHRIS!!!!” and to my biggest surprise, I heard a guy yell back “yo!” A huge feeling of joy rose in me, so I yelled back “ARE YOU CHRIS??” and I’m not really sure what he yelled back, but I think he said “I CAN SEE YOU” So just to make sure, I asked him what his last name was, and he asked why… and I said to make sure he was chris. Weirdly enough he didn’t reply… that’s when we knew he wasn’t chris... but I mean, I walked all that way, I wasn’t just gonna leave. So I asked I the party was down in the dark where he was… and he yelled “not even!” So I yelled “CAN I COME???” and he’s like “I’M A BIT BUSY BRO” So I yelled back “WHAT ARE YOU DOING???” and he didn’t reply, and I kept yelling “HELLO” “CAN I COME?” “DUDEEEE!!!” Then some girl yelled “SHUT THE F*** UP!!!” and me and jenarth started laughing so hard and kinda ran away :P

I was actually about to go down there not knowing what was going on, until I heard the girl! Haha!

That totally made my day!

By the time we were on our way home, it was around 11:40pm. So I got to the nearest bus stop and took the bus to baseline station. I like never use that stop, so I wasn’t really sure where the bus home would stop. So I waited where a lot of people were waiting, cuz I knew the 111 would take me home, but there were 2 sides of the station where the 111 stopped. While waiting on one side… I turned around to see that the 111 was JUSt leaving the station on the other side of the bus stop… and I was like “crap!!!!!” So not knowing what other bus would take me home, I took the next bus to Lincoln Fields bus station. I looked at the bus timings, and noticed that neither the 111 or 86 were running anymore!!!! I was stranded at the bus stop… with no way to get home :(

Before I went out… At jenarth’s house I called my older brother hussain and asked him if I would be able to stay out late that night… and he said fine, only on one condition… that he wouldn’t have to drive me home.

Now HE was my only way home…

I put 50cents into the pay phone and called him… It sounded like he was at a party, or maybe in the car on his way to something… but he came and picked me up. In the car he totally exploded. He told me how he warned me that he was busy… and how I ruined all his plans for the night… Then he said I wasn’t allowed to go out for the next 2 weeks.

So yea… but I mean, it was so worth it :D I really don’t think I’m gonna be home for 2 weeks… so I’m not totally bummed out… Plus I have a math test this Monday, so I gotta study quite a bit anyways… I really hope I pass lol… but I don’t have my hopes up :P but wish me luck anyways :P lol

First Day Of Skewl

Today was awsum! I started off really nervous and out of place.

My first class was chemistry, and my first obstacle was finding a desk... it seemed like the first 3 I was about to sit in were taken by someone... I finally found one in the first row... blah. I didnt really do much in that class... just sat there while the teacher taught the class stuff that I've learnt in both grade 9 and 11 (Hydrocarbons).

Next period was Biology. They were in the middle of a lab project, which they were all doing in groups. So that teacher put me in a group with 2 guys, zain and gary. I'm still not exactly sure what its about lol, but it has something to do with enzymes and how fast they react... anyways, I started talkin to the guys, and it turns out me and zain have the exact same schedule for the first semester... meaning he's in all my classes :P He's a pretty kewl guy. He told me to tag along with him during lunch since we're both fasting. He drove me and a couple of his friend's to a nearby chillout place where like half the school chills out lol. It's like the 2nd cafeteria but different food :P oh and yes, HE DRIVES :D haha! How cool is that?

Next period we both had spares and so did a bunch of his friends, so we went into the library, where I photocopied like 50 pages of notes from his biology notes, then printed out like 30 pages of math notes from the internet. (The teacher puts up his lessons on a website only accessible by students and teachers) Then we just chilled around with his friends in the library.

Last we had math. I knew a lot of what they were already doing, but I just havent done it in over a year, so I've forgotten so much of it! Plus the thing is, they have this big test on monday, and I asked the math teacher if I would be able to skip this one test since I just started today, but since that guy has something shoved up his ass, he didnt let me... he told me i have today, tomorrow, and the weekend to catch up! As if i dont have other shit to do other than math?? But whatever, one of my classmates (Mike) volunteered to help me out since he was done his work and he was free... He actually helped A LOT. He went over everything and by the end of the period, I was pretty much up to date

LOL when people found out I was Sarah Khatheer's cousin, they'd be like "OMG! your her cousin??" and I wouldnt know if it was a good thing or not HAHA! But later I guess it was a good thing, cuz people would gte all happy lol :P She must be really popular :P

One of my big problems is that with chemistry and biology, I've missed a FULL unit that the class wont be taking anymore... but the thing is, it'll be in my final exam... some of my friend's are like "just leave it till then" but by then, a lot of people would have forgotten it, and i woudnt be able to learn it that much.... So for now I'm keeping it aside since i have this math thing going on... And I guess if I find the time, I'll study the chemistry... With the biology, I think i HAVE to study it since they're still in the middle of the unit.

Well by the end of the day, i had this pretty cool group of friends. Oh and they told me to move my locker beside there's since i was on the other side of the hall. :P lol I also ran into a few people I KINDA know from the past... but i just said hi to those people and I was on my way with my other friends.

No plans for this weekend yet... but I never MAKE plans until the actual day lol :P Peace out!

Registering At Brookfield

I woke up at 9am today, to get ready and go to Brookfield high school and register. I took a show, got all dressed up. When i went to wake my brother up, he's like "later..." He ended up finally getting up at 1pm!!!! Ugh....

So I got to school with all my papers. Went to register... And so I did lol. Wasn't a hassle at all to register. The confusing part was picking my courses.

Since I was late, the woman that was helping me pick my courses told me that I might not get all the ones I want since they might be full. So I told her I wanted to be a vet and she told me I needed, Biology, Chemistry, and Math (Functions and Calculus). So I took all of those, plus I HAD to take english cuz its a mandatory class. I needed at least 7 courses. So she advised me to take physics which I dont really like, because she said the university's would love someone who took all 3 sciences. So I took it. I needed one more class, so i looked everything over, and told her I wanted a design and technology class, but it was full :( So I took a fitness class, which I also wanted since all you do in the class is like lift weights and like work out! Its a free gym :P haha!

Then she did my brother's courses who's in grade 10. He had to take 7 mandatory classes and only be able to chose 3 out of 5 other classes.

After that she had to separate the classes as first semester, or second. I wanted the hard courses in the second semester since I'm already 3 and a half weeks late!

For the first semester, I'm taking Biology, Chemistry, and Functions. Second semester, I'm taking English, Physics, Calculus and Fitness!

I get a spare class everyday. For the first semester, on odd days like (September 1, 3, 5) I get my spare after lunch, so I get an EXTRA long break! On the even days like (September 2, 4, 6) I get my spare last period! So I get to go home early! At 1:50pm.

Each period is 1:15hours long... So thats a bit of a bitch.... Hope they don't feel that long!

Today i got to go shopping for my school stuff, since I dont have ANYTHING yet. Gotta buy my locker's lock, pens, pencils, binders, papers and other stuff I guess.

Wish me luck on my first day of school bitches :D

Haha! I was waiting for the bus at "Licoln Fields" bus station, which is pretty crouded most of the time. Well I was REALLY bored and I had my camera with me! LOL! So I started lip syncing and well you can see what it led to.... when you see me laughing, thats when i turn over to see people staring at me, so i just laughed :P Loads of fun!

Math Exam & Shot!

I've been dreading this day ALL weekend!!! I had to redo my math exam, since I needed 70% or more to get into the smart class… I only got 53% before (without studying) I studied for quite a bit, but I still didn’t understand A LOT, since I never learnt any of that BS! I even went over to my cuzin’s place, hoping my cuzin, whoz my age, would know some of this stuff, but she wasn’t much help! Haha! At least she tried :P

This morning was the exam, had to get up at 8, and leave at 9am. When I got to the examination place, I was REALLY stressed… I really didn’t think I’d pass with a 70% :S So I tried my best, and when I finished and reviewed my exam, I thought I did REALLy good. I knew I totally messed up on 3 questions, but that was pretty small considering it was an 8 page exam!

I handed in my paper and 10 minutes later the woman comes to me and is like “You got 70%” inside I was yelling and screaming for joy! Outside… I smiled and said “great”! hahaha!

I’m getting into an academic class :D yay!

Then we went to get my shot, since the report about me said I was missing one… that wasn;t to much trouble, then my brother had some errands to do with his car and stuff. We were out from 9am till 4pm!

So after stressed for a weekend, I’m finally free! Gonna go to Brookfield high school tomorrow to register! Gotta pick my courses and everything. Don’t know what I need exactly to become a vet yet… So I’ll update soon and tell ya guys what I’m taking :P

Canada Update

Been a while since I blogged. I’ve been out quite a bit actually! Either chillin at friend’s places, or going to SRB high school where most of my friends go to say hi, or hanging out in malls. It’s been pretty fun and laid back.

Yesterday I had my English and math exams for the school board since I’m coming over seas. My English was perfect, but since I haven’t studied math in like 3 months, I only passed with a 53%. If I stayed with this mark, I would have to take applied math, which means only colleges accept applied math, but universities need academic math which is a lot harder. So they gave me a study booklet and I’m going to redo the exact same exam on Monday. I need a 70% or more to get into academic math. Wish me luck! I’m also gonna get a shot on Monday, since my vaccination records say I haven’t gotten that specific one. So I’m not fasting on Monday! HAHA!

I love this bus system so much! I’ve been able to get around places, and not need to depend on anyone! In UAE, I had to beg someone to drive me places, and a last resort was spending quite a bit of money on cabs, but now all I need is $4 to get to somewhere and back! I’m not getting my bus pass until next month, cuz if I get it now, I’ll have to pay $50 and it’ll only last me about a week, if I get it in the beginning of October, I pay $50 and it lasts me the whole month! Free transportation! Lol

I’m also waiting for my dad to send over my birth certificate, so that I can apply for a social insurance number, so that I’d be able to get a job. He said he’ll send it today and I’ll receive it the day after, but I really doubt he’s gonna send it over today.

I also need a cell phone! I hate going out and not able to call anyone, I feel so helpless without it! My brother has a sim card for me, but he told me not to activate it yet since I don’t have the money to pay for the monthly bill. He said I should get a job first so that I’d be able to pay my bills.

When I get to settle down and have some extra money, I’m gonna try to get my G1 (first driver’s license) then my G2. I think I’ve already explained the difference between G1 and G2.

Yesterday I went to Jenarth’s place and we hung out. Played some dance dance revolution! And went on the pc… I showed him mika’s LOVE TODAY video and Kelly’s new video “Let Me Borrow That Top” (I’ll post it right after I post this blog lol). We took a few pics that day too… Here they are :P.

Getting Accustomed To Canada

Well I’m trying to settle down, since I’ll be going to school soon and hopefully enjoying my time. The main thing I need to get used to it the transportation. Most people move around the city using the bus system, and since I’m getting a monthly bus pass, I’ll be able to move around the city with ease, except I don’t even know how to use the bus system! LOL! Luckily my friend Matt gave me a website which tells me how to use the bus system, and I can even plan my pathways using this site by telling them where I am, where I want to go, and what time. Then the site finds the shortest path to my destination. REALLY cool! The site is www.octranspo.com

I’m gonna register for school tomorrow. I want go to Woodroff but I live pretty close to Brookfield. I heard Brookfield is like the crapiest school around lol. Hopefully I’ll get into Woodroff. I actually want to go to SRB with all my old friends, but that’s to far so screw it.

I also need to get used to the people here. It won’t be hard lol… but it is different!

Now the weather is a totally different thing. I so need to get warm clothing! It’s pretty cold here! All I have are t-shirts right now. I stole a few cool warm shirts from my brother’s closet lol! It should do for now.

I’m gonna try to find a part time job here. It’s really easy to get jobs here I heard. People start hiring when you turn 16. Cant wait to get my own job and have my own income :D Gonna be awsum!

I’m also gonna get my G1, which is a license you get when you turn 16, but the thing is, you have to have a licensed driver in the passenger seat, then 8 months later you get your G2 which is a regular license.

Cant wait to start my new life! Cya people!

Journey To Canada!!! :D

I'm finally in Canada! So excited! I was gonna blog in london, bu I wasn't able to, since it was so0o expensive! 1 Euro for ONLY 10minutes! Screw that lol.

The flight from Dubai to London (British Airways) was pretty good! Lots of good movies, like "Shrek The 3rd" and "Fantastic 4 (2)" and a couple of others. Even Mr. Bean's Holiday was playing but I didnt watch that, couldnt stand it lol. It was cool since everyone had their own TV screen, and so I was able to select the shows or movies I wanted to watch! They had CARTOON NETWORK! YAY! lol I watched one of my favorite shows "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Many" and also showing was "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends". Good shows :D lol

When I landed in London, we were about 20minuteslate, so our terminal thing where the plane is supossed to park was being used by another plane so they stopped the plane somewhere and we got off and took a bus to the airport. But while I was outside waiting for the bus, the wheater was AMAZING! Hot sun with a cool breeze! Just WOW! But then we went into the airport, Terminal 4... me and my bro just chilled there for about 3 hours until we had to go to the next plane from London to Montreal. We bought a bit of chocolate, pepsi, starburst, and a deck of cards which we didnt even use on the next flight! :P

From the flight to London to Montreal, I was excited because this TV screen also had games where you could play. So during take off I was just looking through everything, but then when the plane got stable, MY screen just started turning off and on and off and on. It wouldnt STOP! So I buzzed in the flight attendant, she said she'll try resetting my screen, but that didnt do anything. So for the whole duration of the flight, I wasnt able to watch my screen. Instead I would stare at my brother's screen every now and then... Before I left Dubai, Michael said that I should look at London when i land, cuz he said it's just like the movies, and its really nice. Unfortunaly, I was sitting in the middle aisle seat... So I wasn't able to, but when I was leaving london, I got a window seat! So I was able to see the amazing view of london from up up in the sky! After about an hour I got fed up and just put those things that you put over your eyes to cover up the light so you can sleep (I asked 2 people and neither of them know what it's called lol)

I woke up 40minutes before landing, so I was pretty happy about that. When I got up, I felt this really bad pain around my left shoulder blade (on my back). But whatever.

So my 21 year old bro came with my 15 year old cuzin to the airport in montreal to pick us up. While walking to the car, I got goosebumps cuz it was pretty cold! Well A LOT colder than I thought it would be :S I needed at least a sweater, but stupidly enough I didnt buy any on my shopping spree lol! Was a 2 hour car ride back to ottawa... Then I went to my uncle's house to say hi for about 2 hours. Then I went to my other aunt's house where I would be staying.

Well thats all for now! I cant wait to meet up with old friends and meet new people! But of cuorse, I CANT forget the most amazing people back in UAE! I already miss them :) Hope you guys are having fun! Bye!

Last Get-Togethers :(

Since I found out that I'd be leavin which was on Monday, I made plans as soon as I could to see all my friends one last time and say my goodbyes. Well you guy's have already seen when I hung out with fish and mishal which was on Tuesday. Lots of fun as you can see from the pics lol.

On Thursday I called up all my sharjah friends and told them all to meet me up at megamall, since almost everyone in sharjah lives not to far from there. SO on Thursday, right after iftar Mishal, Fish and Mishal's older bro Basim picked me up from my house and we were off to megamall.

When we got there, it was around 7:30 and we told everyone we'd be there at 7 lol... We were going up the escalator to the 2nd floor and I looked up and saw half of my friends there! Fahs, Adeeb, Yahya, Nairuz, Nada, Farah, Sohieb, and Twix! I was really excited to see everyone since I havent seen most of them in the longest time.

Since the megamall people are so0o retarded, we werent allowed to stand in like a group and talk, they kept making us walk... BLAH! So since we were so many people, it was really hard to walk and talk, we just ended up in little groups of 2 and 3. So Nairuz came up with the idea to hang out at Chilli's! And so with that, we were off to Chilli's :P We asked fr the biggest table (we were 12 at the time) and so we got this really big circular table, with half of the table had a large couch like seat, and the other half were chairs. So we just added a few more chairs and we all fit :D

Throughout the day, Basil came with his friend zaid, and Raneem came, and also ahmed and his friend, and nizar and wafa, basim (mishal's bro) dropped by for like 2 seconds with Springz to say hi but then left.

We had to order something or else we wouldnt be allowed to stay there, so me, nairuz, fahs, and farah bought a strawberry margarita which was WAY TO SOUR!!! Mishal got strawberry lemonade, Fish and nada ordered a chocolate milkshake, and Nizar bought water :P Which all summed up to 116dhs! Which was wack :P lol

During the day, we spent all out time in chilli's since that the only place we can be as loud as we wanted and had as much fun as we wanted! There was a bit of drama between mishal and sohieb, but whatever! There wasn't anything specific that I want to say about that day, but it was just LOADS of fun. So much laughs and just an overall amazing time! We took WAY to many pictures! lol

Then around 11pm, Nairuz, Nada, and Farah had to leave :( So I walked them to the cabs outside megamall, and we said out goodbyes. It was REALLY sad! I really was about to cry. I just love them so much! Then I went back in to hang out with the rest of the gang. One by one, they all started leaving. I didnt cry, nothing personal, but its just that I dont lol. But I did feel REALLY sad!

On Friday, the main plan was for Michael to pick me up from his place, and hang out till around fatoor time, then I'd meet up with all my dubai friends to say goodbye. But the thing that messed everything up last minute was that Michael didnt have access to the car :S So there was no way he'd be able to pick me up. So Since it was Friday, I had to go to the mosque in Sharjah, so I asked my dad to drop me off at Sahara mall after the mosque since it was the closest to dubai that my dad would go. So from Sahara I took a cab to Uptown Merdif for only 20dhs! I was happy about that lol :P So I got to uptown and told michael to meet up with me there at the food court, since it was the only thing open at that time, it was around 3pm by then. I was texting NG at the time too, and she said she'll come early! OMG I luv her so much :) So michael got there about 15mins later and 5 minutes after michael got there NG arrived. When NG was walking through the doors, I was hiding and popped out from behind the door and yelled BOO! LMAO it was to funny! She looked like she was gonna cry! haha! So I gave her the biggest hug! For the next hour, Michael, NG and I hung out just talking, taking pics and laughing. Then everyone started to show up, and by the time it was fatoor time I was surrounded by Ng, Hadiel, Reem, Sara, Saif, Abdulla, and Khaled. Michael went home for the time being. We all hung out outside CENTRAL PERK! It was so cool cuz thats like the F.R.I.E.N.D.S thing!!! Lol. But it was closed, so we just sat on the benches outside the coffe shop. About half an hour later we noticed that another coffee shop nearby was open, so we went in there and chilled on the couches! I took out a Dr. Sues book "The Cat In The Hat" and read the WHOLE thing to everyone! HAHA! It was a good story :D

Now it was time to finally eat! NG and Hadiel lives really close by, so they had to go home to eat iftar, while everyone else went to the food court to eat. Me and Khaled had hardees with CURLY FRIES! YUMMY! Saif had pastries, and reem, sara, and abdulla had McDonalds.

Right after we finished eating I spotted a celebrity!!!! Well kinda lol, his name is mustafa and he's the host of the music channel "Zee Arabiya" Weirdly enough NONE of my friends kne about the channel or mustafa! So I dragged along 4 of my friends and Abdulla yelled out "zee arabiya!" Since mustafa was just about to leave, and mustafa looked back and said "HEy how you guys doin??" It was so0o cool! haha

After iftar most of us went to pray (including me :D lol). Then sara, reem and abdulla went to abdulla's house (sara is abdulla's cuzin) and saif chilled with khaled in uptown, and I went over to michael's place to chill with him. I wasnt there for any longer than 15minutes until I got a phone call from mena's from, when I answered I heard some person say "booga ncsuhgsg" and just some weird ass noises lol! So I'm like "mena you bastard!" And then I heard mena's MOM say "hiiiiiiiii!!!" LMAO!!! So i'm like omg hi!! how r u?? and then she told me to come to uptown since she wanted to say bye to me, and she was just dropping off mena and heba. So I went over from michael's place with michael, which was only a 2minute walk from uptown. So I went over to her and said our goodbyes, and later mena told me that her mom didnt understand the "bastard" thing very clearly, and mena told her that I actually said some other word, which I cant remember right now lol. Not to long later, sharky showed up :D I was really happy, cuz I didnt think I'd see him before I left.

So we spent the rest of the day around the food court, or outside spinny's since everyone kept buying drinks from there. The whole day was so0o0o much fun! I luv these people so much!!!

By 10pm I had to go to sahara mall where I'd meet up with mishal and basil and springz and from there we'd be on our way to megamall to see BUZZ for the first and last time! Michael came to sahara with me in the cab since he was going to his friend's place in Sharjah anyways.

I met up with mishal, his bro and springz, then we were on our way to megamall. It was around 11pm when we left. Buzz kept calling since she HAD to leave at 11pm! So it was a race against time! I really didnt think we'd be able to make it on time! We got there at 11:30pm, not knowing if buzz was still there. We called her up and she said she was still at megamall at starbucks! So me and mishal ran all the way to her and found her! It was so cool to finally meet up with her! Over the past mouth we've grown so close!

We chilled for about half an hour, until we all had to leave. I went back to Mishal's place, and from there I went home by cab.

I'ma miss you all so much! My flight tomorrow is at 9:10am. So this is my last day in UAE. I think I'm gonna do some last minute shopping :) My mom is giving me like A LOT of money lol :D yay! I'll try to blog when I'm in London! Bye for now!

Ramadan Kareem

Happy Ramadan everyone! Today's the first day of ramadan. I wanted to wake up late so I wouldn't have to starve for so long, but I ended up waking up at 10am lol... FOr now I'm just killing time until around 4pm where I'll be on my way to mishal's house, then we'll be on our way to megamall to break our fast there :)

Confirmed!

My dad just booked me and my brother this morning for September, 16th Sunday. SO thats another extra day in UAE which is good :)

The flight plan is for me to fly from Dubai airport at 9:10am, arrive at Heathrow (London) at 1:40pm. Then there's a transit where I chill in London for 4 hours :P Then the next flight leaves at 5:40pm and I'll arrive in Montreal at 7:45pm September 16. Then from Montreal I think my uncle will be there to pick me and my bro up and drive us 2 hours to Ottawa!

I cant wait! I'll really try to blog during the transit in Heathrow. Maybe they'll have a net cafe or something lol.

I'll miss you all so much! Cant wait for Thursday and Friday! Cya all soon :)

Goin To Canada!

This summer has been a bitch when it came to whether or not I'd be going to Canada.

Well as you guys know, I've starts school in UAE, and I hated it. I even accepted the fact that I'd be staying in UAE for another year, and I'd made peace with it. But ever since school starts (almost 2 weeks ago) I've only gone once... and not because I didn't want to go, but because my dad didn't take me, so I was guessing something was up. Yesterday my dad told me that me and my bro would be going to canada after ramadan for school! And I got crazy excited! I mean I've been waiting for this ever since I came to UAE (4 years ago) and now it was finally happening. Sometime through the conversation about me and my bro going to canada, my mom said it would be better for me if I went earlier, because grade 12.. I have to pick my courses, and enter the school and what not, so the earlier the better. And so my dad told me to find a flight that would leave on THIS SATURDAY!

It was VERY short notice... but I didn't want to complain. And so I found a flight on "british airways" for saturday, but when I tried to book it online, it didn't work, probably cuz i did it wrong lol. But later that night I tried booking again but noticed that the same flight had had it's price raised by 2000DHS!!! So we looked for the next cheapest flight which was on the 17th, monday! I like monday a lot better since I get to see my friends more. But right now I don't have any booking yet, but I think I will by the end of today.

So yesterday since I knew I was going, I called up ALL my friends and told them lol. All of them were like NO WAY! Others were like "this is a joke right???" and fahs even asked if this was an early april fools prank! haha! But when they realized I wasn't kidding, some got mad, others got sad, and some got REALLY sad and even started crying which was kinda a slap in the face. I didn't think anyone cared THAT much :)

But I made sure that I'd see all my friends to say goodbye before I left. So on Thursday I'm going to megamall to see all my sharjah friends since most of them live around there. Right now I know that the people who are coming are Mishal, Fish, Twix, Raneem, Nairuz, Nada, MiMi(I think), Lina(maybe), Sohieb, Fahs, Adeeb(maybe), Farah, and Sharky. But on Friday I'm going out with michael around his place, and since he literally lives like a one minute walk from uptown merdiff, I thought up to gather my dubai friends there, so now the people who are coming are Ng, Hadiel, Mena, Heba, Sara, Michael. Today (tuesday) I'm going over to Mishal's house to chill there and fish is coming over :) Cant wait to see them since I haven't seen them in like over a week! And on wednesday, I'm going over to ramzi's place to chill there.

If I do leave on monday (which is most probable) I think I'll be seeing some more people :)

P!NK Concert!

MOST AMAZING TIME OF MY LIFE! The whole day was just perfect! :D

Yesterday was the highly anticipated P!NK concert! I was CRAZY excited cuz it was my first concert EVER! The plan was that the doors opened at 6pm, but P!NK came out at 10pm.

Since Michael lived in dubai, he came to my place and picked me up and took me to his place, then Mishko came over, and finally Moe. We chilled at Michael's MANSION (lol) for about 3 hours playing fooseball and "gettin ready" for the concert. Since we all knew we would be crazy exhausted by the time the concert was over, no1 wanted to drive there and back, so MOE's driver took us there and we planned to take a cab back.

RIGHT BEFORE we left, Michael told everyone to go to the bathroom since it was a bit of a long ride, and so they all did (except me). Halfway to the concert, EVERYONE had to piss REALLY bad!!! Michael was going CRAZY! HAHA! Michael even wanted to pull over and piss ANYWHERE. But everyone just told him to hold it in. When we got to the concert, Michael and Mishko were so desperate that they went by some tree in the dark LMAO! Me and Moe didnt have to go THAT bad, so we just went to the bathroom around 10 minutes away.

We met up with Mishko and Michael in the concert area. We got there at 9pm, which was around an hour before P!NK as to come out and perform. There was this random local band who was playing. I know this band was chosen through a contest to see who would open for PINK. (I heard it on the radio). But it was amazing to find out that this band won the contest, cuz we all thought the singer who looked like a 16 year old girl REALLY sucked... So we just went outside the concert area and bought some drinks. Since the line up was so friggen long, it was about 10pm by the time we finally got our drinks. I called up NG cuz I knew she would be there, and I met up with her, Hadiel and there friend (I didnt get her name :S) And they came to me and my friend's area!

At around 10:10pm P!NK came out and EVERYONE went berserk! I just started yelling me arse off! HAHA! Ng found out it was my first concert and she was like "awww ur so0o0o cute" and she was like "how old r u again? and I'm like "17...." haha!!!

I searched the net for the list of songs she sang, but I couldnt find it. But I know she didnt sing "Stupid Girls" and Michael was really upset she didnt sing "You Make Me Sick" But EVERYONE went crazy when she sang "U&UR Hand"!!! Everyone was jumping up and down, throwing their hands in the air, and singing along as loud as they could :D.

The concert only lasted about 90 minutes. But I was OK with it since by the time she sang her last song, I was barely able to even sing along cuz I was so0o exhausted! Halfway through the concert Mishko's sis tagged along.

When we wanted to go home, we had to take a cab. I could barely walk, my legs felt like giving way with every step I took. We finally got a cab and dropped off Mishko and His sis at their place. Then we went through a drive through at McDonald's and we ate like there's no tomorrow! Since Michael was so nice, he bought the driver a burger :P lol (and no, he didnt pay me to say that! haha) The we dropped Moe at his place, then went to Michael place. We were at his house by around 1am I think. Since we were soaked in sweat, I took a quick shower first, and let out my clothes to dry, and he gave me some of his clothes to wear for the time being. Then he took a shower, while I went though his photobox lol... he has this huge box of pics of him and his friends when he used to live in L.A. They were really kewl pics, I found out that he was Prom King, and that he was like SOMEONE special in highskewl. He also did a lot of other shit, but I cant remember right now lol. So I was supposed to spend the night at his place... and He would drive me back to my place in the evening or something. But my parents were all bitchy and said that I HAD to go to school on Thursday. So we stayed up all night listening to music, and just chilling.

When it was 7am, he said that he was to tired to take me, plus the traffic would be a bitch coming back to dubai, and I agreed. So he gave me some money for a cab.

Throughout the day of the P!NK concert, I only had a small breakfast at home (at 12pm) then Michael picked me up at 1pm... and other than that, I had red bull after red bull to keep me awake and hyper :D. Even when I got to school, before I entered, I went to the supermarket nearby and bought another red bull! I got to school about 15min late. On my way to class I ran into 2 teachers who saw the P!Nk concert bracelet on my risk and tried to rip it off! HAHA Silly Goose... Even when I got to class, I wasn't wearing the uniform, and I didnt have any of my school stuff or anything. So I just sat there first period and 2nd... Since I dont take arabic with the class and my special classes dont start for around another month. Throughout the whole day, I only had 2 real classes... Math and Physics. I was 2 day's late of classes, but I already understood more than the guy next to me! HAHA! Fahs was kind enough to gimme one of his sandwiches at skewl since I didnt have any food with me and was starving! YAY! But during the day, I just had less and less patience for everyone in the class, I just felt disgusted by all of them. It was the worst I've felt in a very long time. I just couldnt stand any of them anymore! (except my 2 and only friends in school) So I'm gonna try to convince my parents to transfer me to another school. I've been in Dahwa for one day and I'm sick of it, just thinking of a whole year makes my stomach turn!

By the time I got home on Thursday after school, it was 2pm and I had been awake for 27 hours!!! As soon as I got home, I went into my room, changed my clothes (since they were still a bit wet with sweat lol) and fell on my bed and went straight to sleep! I just woke up and its 7am.. Friday morning! I've been sleeping for 17 hours straight! lmao! I really feel refreshed and new! :D During my sleep I was awaken around 6 times... 3 text messages asking how the concert was, which I didnt reply 2, then a phone call from Michael who sent one of those text messages asking if everything was ok and if I enjoyed the concert. And then mishal called asking how the concert was, and if I had fun, and he wanted details and I just told him to read my blog when I blog :P lol. Then Sohieb called to see if I wanted to go out, but I just told him I was sleeping all day, which I was!

I dont have any pics right now... and I didnt take that many pics, since it was Mishko's sister's camera... and I barely knew her... But I did pop up in a few pics... I'll post them here when I got them, Cuz I dont think they're up on facebook yet!

Edit: Ok well I just got the pics. It seems I only appeared in one of them lol, but I dont really mind, since I was enjoying my time anyways, I was mostly with ng and hadiel, mishko's sis was with michael, moe, mishko and a few of their other friends. My future concert plans for this year are October 27 (Mika, Joss Stone, Arash, and Abri) That concert is a 2 day thing, with Kanye West and 5 other performers the day before for a multi-national thing to bring all races together (or thats what I think its about). (I'll be attending the October 27th one with Mika and Joss Stone :D) Then I heard Justin Timberlake is coming sometimes in December, But I have my finals in December, So I hope he comes on a day in which I'm free! And then the concert I'm most excited about, DESERT ROCK! It's a 10 hour concert, hosted on 2 seperate days. March 7th (Friday) and 8th (Saturday) 2008. I checked the official site But there isn't a list of the bands playing yet. But I did hear that sum41 will be there!

School Update / P!NK Concert

After blogging yesterday, I was crazy tired since I only had 4 hours of sleep, so I went straight to bed and woke up around 7pm. When I got up, I realized everyone was out except my older sister. So when My parents and brothers come home I find out that my parents went back to the school to talk to them about registering me and my brothers into the school.

When they were out, I knew they were goin back to school, but I was kinda hoping I would get accepted, just to see what would happen, and a little more drama in my life wouldnt hurt :D lol. When my mom came home with a big smile on her face, I knew we were accepted lol. I couldn't say i was disappointed, I mean I still get to see my friends, and plus if I didnt get accepted, I would probably have to go to some crappy school with weird ass people in it.

Today I got up at 4am, took a quick shower, watched tv, went on the computer and then get dressed. We usually leave the house at 7am, but by 6:50am my dad wasn't even up yet. So I thought he slept in, so I went to wake him up and he told me that we we're going to school today. I dont know the exact reason why, but hey, I get another day off lol. So i get undressed and went back on the computer :D I think the reason I'm not going today is because my dad is gonna register me and my brothers today, so we'll be there tomorrow? But thats just a guess.

On a brighter and WAY more exciting note, I'M GOING TO P!NK'S CONCERT TOMORROW!!! I cant wait! It's gonna be my first concert ever! I've been wanting to go to this concert ever since I first heard of it, but around last week i lost all hope, since I couldnt find a ride there, someone to go with, or ever a ride back. But almost last minute Michael shows up and fixes EVERYTHING! So now it's all planned out! I'll be missing school on Thursday since I'm sleepin over at Michael's place lol. YAY! I'm so excited! :D

First Day Of Skewl? I Think Not!

Yesterday I was really excited for my first day of skewl as a twelfth grader! That Day I slept at 6am, and woke up at 4pm. But in order to get enough proper sleep for skewl I should sleep at 12am and wake up at 6am. I went to bed at 12am, but couldnt call asleep until 1am. Then I wake up at 3:30am =/ Which wasn't good at all lol, cuz I knew I would get REALLY tired during the school day, so I tried to fall back asleep but that didnt happen.

When I got to skewl I bought a red bull to give me WINGS! lol So that I would be able to stay awake all day.

It was pretty cool seeing my old friends. Some of which I havent seen ALL summer. And Yes, I did get a few people coming up to me and were like "OMG! You said your going to Canada, blah blah blah"

During the first period, that class' arabic teacher came in and started talking to the kids about the summer and whatever. I just sat there talkin to my friends :P About 15min into the first period my brother comes to my class and tells me to come with him, and so I do. He takes me to the administration office where my dad was waiting for us and told us that we're to get our stuff and go home. When I as in the car I asked him why we were leaving, and he said it was because the school wouldnt register us. My dad waited LAST MINUTE to register me and my 2 brothers. He actually went to register the morning of the first day of school. But the school told my dad that there wasn't anymore room, and to come back later to check if they found any. So right now, everyone's at skewl probably enjoying the first day without me =[ while I'm at home, not sure if I'm ever gonna go back to see them.

If I dont get accepted to Dawha School, I really dont know what I'm supposed to do. I mean The only other school I can think of is Andalus. That's where a lot of my friends go, but the thing is, the guy's there are REALLY bad, I mean if your a teenager in my generation, you know what I'm talking about. Plus my friends who go to Andalus are girls, so I wouldnt even be able to see them. So right now I'm just clueless... I'll update as soon as I find out whats going on =/
